Numeracy is a valuable life skill which can improve your everyday life, from understanding household finances, helping children with homework, or something specific to your line of work. Improved numeracy can also help with finding better work.

Multiply courses with Twin include:

  • Addition to employment - This is a free one-day online or face-to-face course. Following an initial assessment, the course aims to create a pathway to learning and employment through our employer networks and support you to obtain skills and access the qualifications to improve your chances of employment, an apprenticeship, or further training. We also support you with how to work out the impact the employment will have on your finances and benefit entitlement.
  • You and Me 1,2, 3 - This is a free one-day online or face-to-face course which introduces parents and children to how maths is taught in school. It aims to improve confidence in maths at early key stage 1 and helps parents/carers develop confidence in helping children with homework. Parents considering applying to teaching or volunteering roles will also gain valuable insight and skills to enhance CV's and applications.
  • First Steps to Numeracy - This is a free one-day online or face-to-face course. It aims to demystify how numbers can help you gain confidence and explore how this can benefit your everyday life. It could be through planning and budgeting for food, managing household bills, measurements for recipes, or in the workplace.
  • Mastering Maths for Career Success - This is a free one-day online or face-to-face course. It aims to empower you to not only grasp the complexities of mathematics but also seamlessly apply them to your everyday work. Tailored around job tasks, you will be able to say goodbye to maths anxiety and hello to a future filled with newfound expertise and possibilities.
  • Numeracy Community Challenge - This is a free one-day online or face-to-face course. It provides a skills assessment to create individualised support and identify an activity or pathway to further improving your numeracy skills when considering employment or volunteering. Whether you're a keen chef, enjoy home improvements, creative projects, or simply want to navigate the cost-of-living crisis, this course will empower you with essential skills.
  • Money Matters - Budgeting and Financial Wellbeing - This is a one-day online or face-to-face course. It explores your 'money personality' and how to effectively budget and navigate your understanding of how to get the best our of your money situation, including examples related to Universal Credit calculations, the cost of living, and managing debt.
