Multiply for Employers
Multiply is funded by the Department of Education to build confidence in Maths for adults that do not have an existing Level 2 Maths qualification or where additional Maths support could make a big difference in progressing in a career.
If upskilling your workforce requires a focus on Maths or Maths related disciplines, we would like to hear from you. Kent County Council (KCC) and our partners will be able to help you develop bespoke programmes and deliver them as part of the Multiply project.
In addition to supporting existing employees, we are also able to help with preparing your future workforce with the Maths skills they will need.
Areas of support can include:
1. Customised programmes - We can work with you to develop a programme that supports your staff to develop confidence in Maths. These programmes can be customised to the particular work setting and the types of work that your business is engaged in.
2. For employees for whom English is not their first language the Maths course can greatly boost their confidence in using English. These sessions can be as short or as long as you wish and can take them to a level where they have the confidence to undertake an accredited Maths course.
3. Boosting confidence in numeracy - this programme will combine online workshops with E-Learning. The E-Learning programme has been specifically designed to be delivered in bite-sized chunks. The online workshops will introduce learners to the topics of the E-Learning modules and provide on-going support.
4. Support for recruitment - we would work in partnership with JobCentre Plus to provide support including accredited and non-accredited training for potential recruits as part of the organisation's recruitment process.
5. Online accredited learning for employees - this can be provided for both English and Maths to achieve qualifications including Functional Skills - Entry levels 1,2 and 3 and Levels 1 and 2 and GCSE.
